Commercial Manager – (Ref TW-15-03)
Based in Stirling, UK.  Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.

thinkWhere is one of the UK’s leading Geographic Information Services (GIS) companies.  Due to recent structural changes and a growth in our market, we have reached a new and exciting stage in our business and product development and have an immediate requirement for the senior management position of Commercial Manager.

The Commercial Manager is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the CEO  with responsibility for leading the company’s income generation across the public and commercial sectors as well as providing an effective and efficient pre and post sales service management and consultancy function.

The successful person will set targets, generate income and manage the performance and delivery of all sales, marketing, consultancy and customer service activities.   The role will require strong leadership of a team of consultants, sales, account management and business development professionals, inspiring success, encouraging innovation and effective service delivery.

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has direct experience of leading and managing a commercial team, with proven management experience in a commercial sales environment in a technology company.   A key requirement of the successful person is a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability with senior level sales and marketing experience. 

Ideally the successful person will hold a degree in a relevant discipline and a formal qualification in sales and marketing.
