Senior Developer  (Ref TW-15-04)

Based in Stirling, UK.  Salary Range for the role - £28,000 to £44,000 depending on experience. 

thinkWhere is one of the UK’s leading Geographic Information Services (GIS) companies.  Due to recent structural changes and a growth in our market, we have reached a new and exciting stage in our business and product development and have an immediate requirement for a Senior Developer to join the team in Stirling. 

The Senior Developer will join the Products team and will have a key role in delivering advanced level software development with responsibilities for the requirements, design, construction, integration, testing and maintenance of the company’s software products.  The successful person will also assist with the development of the company’s technical and product strategy and future product portfolio. 

The Senior Developer role has a key role to play in developing customer solutions using Open Source GIS, web, desktop and spatial database technologies. 

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has proven experience in design, development and delivery of geospatial web/software applications and proven development experience with most of the following technologies:  c#, ASP.Net, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, database development and administration.   We need someone with proven development experience with middleware and database products as well as experience in all phases of the product lifecycle and ideally a degree in GIS, information systems, computer studies or related discipline.
