Thank you to all those who attended the recent Jisc Learning and Teaching Experts meeting in Birmingham.  It was a very interesting meeting with excellent presentations and stimulating discussions on employability and technology, FE Digital Student project exploring FE learners expectations and experiences of technology, mapping the student journey, digital capability and scaling up online learning. We also had three excellent Members Showcase sessions.

·         Are you using mobile technologies to support inclusive practice?  As part of an update to its mobile learning resources Jisc are again inviting proposals from learning and teaching staff working within HE, FE and specialist colleges for video case studies around app-based learning and inclusive practice. The submission deadline is Friday 8 May 2015 and if you’re successful you’ll be invited to attend a free video production workshop scheduled for 21 May at our Bristol office. ·         Jisc Summer of Student Innovation  – Our 2015 competition is now open for ideas - please promote widely to your colleagues and students - http://www.jisc.ac.uk/news/students-encouraged-to-pitch-ideas-as-jisc-launches-summer-of-student-innovation-2015

·         Code of Practice for Learning Analytics – Jisc has been coordinating the development of a Code of Practice to address the main ethical and legal issues around learning analytics.  A description is at http://analytics.jiscinvolve.org/wp/2015/01/30/developing-the-code-of-practice/
