Hi David, A cheap alternative is to use the brackets that support guttering, available from any good builder’s merchant. They can be screwed to the wall, say 2 brackets for a 4ft and 4 for a 9ft roll and multiples thereof. Most background support systems can be adapted to hold a decent number of extra rolls. They all do a very good job of protecting your backgrounds from a lot of the common damage and wear that occurs when using them without a dedicated support system, and all are much more efficient to set up once the rolls are loaded. > > The b&h site has a good selection of different brands to give you ideas of what you might need http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Background-Supports/ci/1396/N/4037060742 <http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Background-Supports/ci/1396/N/4037060742> > > Here are some implementations of the system i am familiar with https://www.google.ie/search?q=manfrotto+expan&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=hZw_Vb6GHqf17AbQloH4DA&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1264&bih=823 <https://www.google.ie/search?q=manfrotto+expan&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=hZw_Vb6GHqf17AbQloH4DA&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1264&bih=823> > > > > Best > Tim > > > ----------------- > > Tim Keefe > Head of Digital Resources & Imaging Services > Trinity College Dublin > College Street > Dublin 2, Ireland > > W: +353 1 896 2888 > M: +353 87 2199773 > [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> > > >> Electronic mail to, from or within the College may be the subject of a request under the Freedom of Information Act. > > > > > >> On 28 Apr 2015, at 14:38, David Rowan <[log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>> wrote: >> >> Hello. >> >> Been thinking about this issue for a while now. >> >> I've got a problem in storing my my full and half roll colorama's as well as backgrounds and table tops in the studio.
