EAEPE is home to both methodological and original institutional approaches on the one hand and also more recent formal approaches on complexity, simulation and network theory on the other. Largely, these approaches kept to their respective Research Areas in the past. However, they have much to learn from each other. In the upcoming conference in Genoa, two special sessions and a panel discussion will therefore be organized to develop and emphasize synergies between the two approaches. The specific focus of the two special sessions is on methodology and structuration respectively. Additionally, there will be the regular sessions organized by the research area on Evolutionary Economic Simulation (see eaepe.org for more details). The deadline for abstract submissions is May 1.
