The Giving Value project is designed to give archive services the capabilities and skills to approach fundraising strategically, and to introduce their organisations to different methods of tackling urgent and long term funding needs.

 

This one-day workshop will cover both measuring outcomes and engaging in commissioning for archives. Delegates will be introduced to the tools that have been developed to help archivists better demonstrate the value of their service through effective use of an outcomes framework. The workshop will also focus on how archivists can engage with strategic and other commissioning processes and allow time for participants to explore opportunities for their own service to contribute locally.
