Muskogee County commissioners plan to conduct a feasibility study to determine the present costs of document storage and what it would take to convert those to digital images.

District 1 Commissioner Ken Doke said the county has accumulated millions of records since statehood. Storing those documents, which have been recorded on a variety of mediums, requires “thousands of square feet” of space that is costly and “not always easily accessible,” he said.
