Alan I like the fact that PDF/A is - so ubiquitous as to be familiar to most users - easy for basic documents - because of these 2 factors, it is acceptable to most users - open-source - likely (as you yourself informed me) to be readable in 100 years In terms of future development, I would like to see it developed so that this 'easiness' extends to complex documents -eg: multi table Excels...
