Subject: Science in Public 2015 - call for session/paper proposals

We are delighted to announce the call for papers for the 2015 Science in Public conference.  The conference, with the theme “Science in Public: research, practice, impact” will be hosted by the Science Communication Unit at the University of the West of England, Bristol, on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th July 2015.

The conference offers a broad platform for discussion and debate across disciplinary boundaries; in previous years it has welcomed researchers from science and technology studies, history of science, geography, psychology, cultural studies, media studies, sociology, science communication, development studies, English literature, science policy studies and more.

Further information about the conference and how to submit proposals for papers/sessions can be found on the Science in Public Conference website (http://scienceinpublic.org/sip2015/).

General registration will open in late March/ early April.

We look forward to welcoming you in July.

PCST doctoral summer school

The conference will be preceded by the International Network for Public Communication of Science and Technology Doctoral Summer School (http://scienceinpublic.org/pcst-2015/) on 7th and 8th July, which will host international scholars in science communication. The fee for tuition, accommodation and meals is £250 (pounds sterling). There will a limit of 30 places, to ensure full participation.
