Kudos Victor Bloomsbury has just published the first two volumes of my three-volume World History of Design. These volumes cover the history of what became product design and graphic design throughout the world from the earliest tool-users to the end of World War II. Volume 3 will address the period from 1945 to the present. Please note that the books are expensive due to the size of the text (c. 1500 pages), the large number of illustrations (c. 1,000), and the lengthy time involved in the picture research and editing process.
