Hi, English below. Mae ychydig o Gydlynwyr Gwirfoddolwyr (CG) wedi penderfynnu creu grwp i gynrychioli a chefnogi CG dros Prydain ar bob lefel. Efallai y byddwch yn gwybod am grwpiau fel, Cymdeathas Rheolwyr Gwirfoddolwyr sydd yn y Trydydd Sector yn Lloegr yn unig ynghyd a Grwp Addysg yn Amgueddfeydd. Ar hyn o bryd nid oes grwp sydd yn cefnogi gwirfoddoli yn y diwydiant treftadaeth dros Prydain i gyd; oherwydd hyn mae grwp newydd wedi cael ei greu - Grwp Treftadaeth Gwirfoddoli. Mae fwy o fanylion ar gael yn y dogfen. Rwy'n flin ond mae hwn yn un-iaith yn unig. Am nawr yr wyf wedi cael cais i gynrychioli Cymru yn y grwp Prydain. Rwyf am roi adborth o unrhyw syniadau, pryderon a/neu arferion staff o bob adran o ddiwydiant treftadaeth. A few Volunteer Co-ordinators and Mangers (VC) have decided to set-up a formal group to represent and support Heritage VCs across the UK, at all levels. You may be aware of groups which already support VC's or Heritage industry, for example, AVM - Association of Volunteer Managers, which is England and third sector only and GEM - Group for Education in Museums. There is however, no group that currently exists to specifically support all aspects of heritage volunteering across the whole of the UK. Due to this we have set-up the newly created Heritage Volunteering Group, please find attached more information about the group's aims. For now I have been asked to represent Wales at these UK wide meetings. My remit will be to feedback any ideas, concerns and/or practices from staff from all areas of the Heritage industry. Before this can be achieved I would like to know whether Volunteer Co-ordinators/Mangers, staff who supervise volunteers and/or Volunteers feel there is a need for; * staff to share best practices of volunteering across Wales in the Heritage Sector * a Wales Heritage Volunteer Group and how this would look * and whether you would be interested in participating If you are interested please contact Ffion Davies on [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or 02920 57 3419.
