§  Two midwives are requested to join the Executive Group- one an academic midwife and one midwife with a clinical component to their job

The Intrapartum Clinical Study Group (IPC CSG) led by Dr Sara Kenyon- Reader in Evidence Based Maternity Care at the University of Birmingham-  is looking for a two interested and motivated midwives to review, develop and be involved in good quality research as part of the existing Executive Group.  The current IPC CSG has been meeting since May 2011.

The remit for the IPC CSG is to consider trials proposed by members of the Group and others and to provide specific advice to investigators as well as to propose and develop new trials and other well designed studies in intrapartum care. As part of the multidisciplinary Executive Group you will be expected to attend at least two meetings a year with intellectual activity between meetings.  Travel expenses and childcare costs will be paid.
