The University of Winchester - School of Media & Film

The School of Media and Film is seeking part-time/hourly paid lecturers for Film Production. You will be part of the team that delivers our Film Production programme at undergraduate level. This post affords the opportunity to contribute to a growing department of the University across a range of modules including: cinematography, sound, studio production, producing, directing, screenwriting and editing. The Film Production course focuses the energies of staff and students in a way that encourages collaboration and skill sharing across a wide range of creative disciplines.

The posts are intended to supplement our provision in the context of our increasing student cohort, drawing on the talents of our staff and by identifying the needs of the industry. You should have a strong practical background in one or more of the required production disciplines, experience of having the public/industry engage with your work and a desire to support students at all levels to achieve their aspirations in this area. You should be excited by the challenge of contributing to our broad range of film practice, the opportunity of working with colleagues from other disciplines to shape our provision as it develops in new courses and to contribute to the way in which we think about film production as a creative endeavour.

The School of Media and Film has a strong commitment to widening participation, diversity and internationalism and this is reflected in our staff and student profiles.

Please send your cv listing lecturing and industry film production specialist experience to:
