Dear Colleagues

We would like to draw your attention to a new website for the Arts and Humanities Research Fellowship 'Technologies of Memory and Archival Regimes: war diaries after the connective turn': archivesofwar.gla.ac.uk. The project, by Professor Andrew Hoskins of the University of Glasgow, pioneers an interdisciplinary understanding of the impact of digital change on the cultural and organizational memory practices of the British Army's operational reports through comparative research over two archival sites: Historical Branch Army (HB(A)) the Ministry of Defence, Whitehall and The National Archives (TNA).

We open with a blog by Andrew Hoskins, who interrogates the question of whether we are losing the history of warfare.

We welcome comments and debate!

Thanks and regards,

Dr Debra Ramsay
