Library, Information, and Knowledge Services Manager

West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust

We are looking for a qualified librarian with significant experience in NHS Library services to lead on the strategic development, management and promotion of a high quality multidisciplinary Library, Information and Knowledge Service (LIKS) at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.   You will work across three sites, actively supporting clinical governance, education and training, lifelong learning, patient care and research. You will require an excellent working knowledge of Library Management Systems and proven experience at manager level to ensure that the Service is compliant with the Library Quality Assurance Framework (LQAF) and continues to receive its high standard of accreditation.  You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure that services and resources are provided to meet the needs of all staff working in the health and social care community in West Hertfordshire in the delivery of optimum patient care.
