We recently held a days training for staff on the importance on Collections with Nick Poole from the Collections Trust - which not only reinvigorated them and gave us lots of ideas for the future and we'd like to do the same to reinvigorate the staff about the importance of learning and education for staff (from trustees to front of house). Ideally we'd like to remind everyone that it isn't all about history and not all about school visits and that every point of a visit can be a moment to educate and provide learning, that people learn differently and that they are interested in different things etc etc etc.. Has anyone done anything like this with staff and if so - are there any recommendations for someone to lead this type of workshop? Thanks in advance!
