We are seeking to recruit a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow for
European Project on Youth Employment
At Brighton Business School

Salary: £33,242 to £47,328

Join colleagues at the Centre for Research on Management and Employment
(CROME), a vibrant international research group headed by Professor
Jacqueline O¹Reilly where you will contribute to a newly funded European
H2020 project on youth employment. Particular focus of the project will be
given to identifying intersectional differences and outcomes in terms of
class, gender and ethnicity affecting young people's labour market
transitions. You will be required to contribute to theoretical debates in
the area of social resilience and capabilities, analyse policy documents,
organise and conduct semi-structured interviews and collaborate with non
academic stakeholders. Quantitative skills in the use of surveys such as
'Understanding Society' and the European Social Survey are essential for
this role.

Ideally, you will have a postgraduate qualification/PhD in the social
sciences, or be on the point of completing one or have an equivalent level
of professional experience. This post is currently fixed-term for 24
months full-time but can be organised on a part-time basis if required.
