We would like to bring to your
attention
the seventh edition of the Greek Stochastics Meeting which will
take
place in Chania, Crete, Greece, during 11 - 13
July
2015.
The
meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad
discussion of current research themes related to Sequential
and
On-line Learning.
The
workshop will consist of
* 3
short courses
* A limited number of contributed talks
*
Poster presentations
The three short courses will be given by
:
- Gabor
Lugosi (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) on "Online learning
with structured experts".
- Nicolas
Chopin (ENSAE, Paris) on "Sequential Monte Carlo,
Sequential Quasi Monte Carlo, and their use in sequential
inference in hidden Markov and related models".
- Important dates:
* Deadline for submission of contributed talk: 1 April 2015
* Notification of acceptance of contributed talk: 10 April 2015
* Deadline for submission of poster
presentation: 30 May 2015
