Dear all,

There will be a meeting 'Evidence based mathematics teaching' at Royal Holloway on Wednesday 18 March.

The invited speakers are known for their excellent teaching. They are Lara Alcock (Loughborough), Toby Bailey (Edinburgh) and Franco Vivaldi (QMUL).

Talks will be about 30 minutes with ample time for questions and discussion. The timetable is:

12.15 Lunch (free!)
1.00  Lara Alcock: How do people read mathematics?
1.45  Toby Bailey: Mathematics lectures -- a flipping good experience
2.30  Tea/coffee/refreshments
3.00  Franco Vivaldi: Mathematical writing
3.45  Discussion session

All talks and tea/coffee will be in WIN1-05 (Windsor Building.) Lunch is in C229 (McCrea).
