Dear all,

Notice of AGM

SHCG’s AGM will be held on 18 June 2015 at The Silk Mill, Derby Museums, Derby.  All SHCG members are welcome to attend, whether attending conference or not.  Motions for discussion and apologies should be submitted to Jenny Brown, SHCG Secretary by 5pm on 18 May 2015.  Please email [log in to unmask] for further information.

Trustee Elections

This year, SHCG is looking for a Secretary and 2 Ordinary Trustees.

All SHCG members are eligible for election, except Trustees who have already served three consecutive terms.  You do not need to be present at AGM to stand.  The Secretary is a named post and serves for three years.  Ordinary Trustees serve two years and can have various roles which are assigned at the first meeting after AGM.

Nominees must read SHCG’s constitution (http://shcg.org.uk/about) and the Charity Commission’s Trustee Handbook (also available online).

As in previous years we will run elections by secret ballot, first past the post (Chair has the deciding vote).  Please e-mail a signed PDF copy of the attached nomination form to Jenny Brown, SHCG Secretary ([log in to unmask] ) by 17:00 on Friday 18 May.

Late nominations will be accepted at AGM only if they and their seconder are present at AGM.  Please the signed form give to any member of the Committee at AGM by 13:00 on Thursday 18 June 2015.

Any questions, drop me a line!

Thanks,

Jenny Brown
