An event for early (post PhD) - or mid-career academics employed in teaching-focused posts in geography (GEES) who are considering how to further develop their professional position. The event will enable you to meet colleagues from a range of institutions, share ideas and experiences and develop a personal action plan.

The day will be co-convened by Professor Pauline Kneale (Plymouth University) and Dr Fiona Smyth (University of Manchester)

Where do I want to be and when?, setting smart personal targets
Promotion within institutions, how to get to Associate Professor and Professor
