*Creating Cinematic Voices: from script to mixing*



A two day residential course taught by industry professionals, covering
professional workflows, working practices and production and
post-production processes essential to creating the most important
soundtrack element: the voice.

Aimed at early career film sound practitioners including facilities and
production runners, sound recordists, sound editors, post-production
recordists and mixers.



The course includes script analysis and directing voice performances,
dialogue production recording, voice editing techniques and methods, voice
post-production recording practices and voice processing and methods.



*Subsidised course cost £390 including accommodation.*



Held at Heslington Studios, a world-class facility boasting
industry-standard equipment and led by Sound Design Expert and Academic Dr
Sandra Pauletto, the course is supported by industry specialists including
David Hickman, Director and Producer (Race and Intelligence: Science’s Last
Taboo, Slavery: A 21st Century Evil), Neil Hillman, Sound Designer, Dubbing
Mixer and ADR Mixer (Lincoln), James Hyde, ADR Recordist and Studio
Assistant for De Lane Lea and others, (Gravity, The World's End), Adele
Fletcher, Dialogue and ADR Editor (Venus), and Adam Severs, Dubbing Mixer
for ITV, BBC and De Lane Lea Studios (In the Club).



Former Head of Postproduction Sound at Pinewood Studios and renowned
re-recording mixer *Robin O'Donoghue* (Gosford Park, Love Actually,
Shakespeare in Love and many more) will be guest speaker at the course.
