Hi Andrew Yes we are doing something similar - we have a beacons based CMS platform that we have developed and can record all sorts of data from the interactions with the bluetooth LE beacons: dwell times, number of times each beacon is pinged, content pulled down. Also the stats are near real time as well. we are working on developing a heat map system as well, but that is a little further down the line. There are quite a few other interesting spin offs from this tech as well including accessibility. If you want to know more please drop me a line my email is [log in to unmask] Thanks Richard On 23 February 2015 at 15:47, ANDREW STUCK <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Hi Museums Computer Group > > Spotted this article in the FT Weekend - on research using Bluetooth to > map movements of visitors in the Louvre. > > http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/ab83e18a-b6f9-11e4-a33b-00144feab7de.html > > Does anyone know of others in the UK doing similar research? > > Best, Andrew > > ANDREW STUCK > Managing Director > Rethinking Cities Ltd > 07725555460 > [log in to unmask] > http://www.rethinkingcities.net > @RethinkCities > Geovation Housing Challenge Finalist 2015 > > Producer - Talking Walking > http://www.talkingwalking.net > Founding Director of the Museum of Walking > http://www.museumofwalking.org.uk > @museumofwalking > > > > > > > > > **************************************************************** > website: http://museumscomputergroup.org.uk/ > Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/ukmcg > Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/museumscomputergroup > [un]subscribe: http://museumscomputergroup.org.uk/email-list/ > **************************************************************** > **************************************************************** website: http://museumscomputergroup.org.uk/ Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/ukmcg Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/museumscomputergroup [un]subscribe: http://museumscomputergroup.org.uk/email-list/ ****************************************************************
