It's probably not quite what you're looking for, but there is an NHS Photo Library for finding images for leaflets etc: http://www.photolibrary.nhs.uk/ users need to sign up, but it’s a painless process! The tags on the photos aren't great and it's only a simple search but there are still some useful images to be had.
