We are looking for outgoing, confident and organised people with a keen eye for detail and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude to drive and co-ordinate the delivery of a Heritage Lottery Fund supported project “Surrey in the Great War: A County Remembers”. Experience of project management or co-ordination and a sound knowledge of areas of heritage, including local history will be essential.  The post holders will support Heritage Managers in the delivery of the project activity plan, manage human, physical and financial resources, ensuring that the outcomes of the project are fully realised.

You will be educated to degree level in a heritage subject, such as archaeology, history, museum studies or have equivalent work experience.  You will be able to network and work well with a diverse range of people. You should be computer literate, with up-to-date knowledge of information technology and Web 2.0 in relevant fields, have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work across teams, and build sound relationships with customers.  You will have substantial practical experience of working in a heritage context, and working successfully with a wide range of people.

You will be flexible, willing to work some weekends or evenings and have a current driving licence with access to a car.
