Bio: Shaun Breslin is Professor of politics and international studies at the University of Warwick and an associate fellow of Chatham House. He is a leading expert on Chinese politics and economy. Having first studied in China in 1984, he spent the following three decades researching the politics, political economy, and international relations of contemporary China. Shaun has published over 90 journal articles and book chapters on Chinese politics. He is the author of China and the Global Political Economy (Basingstoke: Palgrave-Macmillan, 2007), and a couples of other books on China.
