SEC Pharma is currently recruiting for a Senior Programmer to work within Observational Research for a leading clinical trials organisation in London.

 

Candidates must have excellent SAS programming skills and the ability to implement complex data step logic. You must be comfortable with creating complex analysis data sets derived from various data sources with a careful eye for outliers and errors. Prior experience with large databases and observational research/epidemiology methods is strongly desired. Experience with CPRD or similar HER databases would be of benefit.

Strong documentation, communication, enthusiasm, and time management skills are essential.

Interested applicants will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other subject with high statistical content /Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or other subject with high statistical content
• Proven programming experience
• Statistical programming using the SAS system
• Epidemiology Programming using SAS
• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Project planning and management
• Team participation and effectiveness

• Software development & design


This is an initial 12 months contract – rates on offer are excellent and can be discussed upon application.
