Dear all Here is the calendar of events for LGBT History Month at Swansea University. All events are free and open to visitors, students and staff. More info at http://bit.ly/LGBTSwanseaUni. Flying the flags! : February 2015, Fulton House All throughout the month of February we will be flying the 3 main LGBT flags from Fulton House, to celebrate Swansea University's commitment to its LGBT staff and students. These flags are the LGBT pride, Bisexual pride, and Transgender pride flags. Information stall and exhibit: Monday 02 and Tuesday 11 February, 10 - 2pm, 1st floor, Fulton House The Equality team, LGBT+ Staff Network, and Students Union LGBT Officer will be holding information stalls and an exhibit of famous LGBT people through history. All information is free to pick up. Come and find out more about LGBT issues and some notable LGBT people! FREE Film Screening of 'Pride': Wednesday 18th February, 2pm, Taliesin At the Gay Pride March in London, 1984, a group of LGB activists decide to raise money to support the families of striking miners. They identify a mining village in Wales and set off to make their donation in person; so begins the extraordinary story of two seemingly alien communities who form a triumphant partnership. This event is FREE for all to attend. Pre-booking is advised, either at the box office or by phoning 01792 602060. Real Lives, Real Experiences: LGBT+ Staff Network Panel Discussion: Wednesday 25th February, 12 - 1.30pm, SURF Room, Fulton House This event features a panel discussion from members of Swansea University's LGBT+ community, a Q+A/discussion, and a networking lunch.
