Fiona beat me to it – we had a case in Blackburn 18 months ago and they were referred to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with a view to commencement on the treatment Fiona mentioned.  Again distance is an issue with Brighton I guess but I’m sure at the time there was some collaboration with Guy’s and St Thomas in London.

Does anyone know of a centre with a specialist interest in hypophosphatasaemia?

There is a patient in Brighton who might have this, but the immediate request is for us to get the plasma pyridoxal 5’-phosphate checked.  I think perhaps the patient might be better off in a specialist centre especially if there is some potential clinical gain.

Ideas welcome?

Thank you for your help
