The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology invites applications for the position of Research Assistant Professor in the general area of smart cities, big data analytics and urban computing. Candidates with the following expertise are preferred: mobility technology development and assessment, sustainable infrastructure, and infrastructure resilience. Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. The contract will be for a period of two years, renewable upon availability of funding and performance. Qualifications: Qualified candidates should have a PhD in a closely related field prior to the start of employment.
