Hi Susanne,
I did go ahead and put you down for the ISS luncheon tomorrow. So, we'll see you there.
All best,

It's there for me if I scroll down (bottom half of the page). Might need to do a hard refresh on your browser.

I would love to make a reservation, but for some reason all I get is the login and home page, can't find the luncheon.

Dear Spenserians and Friends of Spenser,

If you’re attending the MLA this January in Vancouver, please join the International Spenser Society for our annual luncheon, on January 10, 2015, starting at 11:30 (slightly earlier than usual to give everyone time to make it to the ISS sponsored panel later that afternoon, “Spenser and Eco-Critical Practices,” 1:45–3:00 p.m., 115, VCC West)

The luncheon is being held at the Segal Building, 500 Granville Street (at the corner of Granville and Pender), room 1300-1500: $42 or $25 for students, retired faculty, and independent scholars. You can reserve a spot and pay here:

The annual Hugh MacLean Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Heather James. Heather will be speaking on "The Problem of Poetry in The Faerie Queene, Book V.”

Please make your reservations by December 31.

While membership in the International Spenser Society is free, donations are very much appreciated. Funds go towards things like medals and cash awards for the Colin Clout and Isabel MacCaffrey prizes; financial support for international Spenser conferences like the one to be held in Dublin, Ireland, in 2015; and subsidies to cover travel, membership, and attendance at the annual luncheon for graduate students presenting papers at ISS-sponsored panels. If you wish, you can make a donation at the above link.

Special thanks to the English Department at Simon Fraser University for co-sponsoring this year's luncheon.

All the best,
Graham
