The Chief Archivist’s two reports to the Minister of Internal Affairs on the state of recordkeeping in public offices, and on the audits carried out for 2012/2013 and 2013/2014, were presented to the House of Representatives today.

These annual reports were prepared under the Public Records Act 2005.

Each report contains a section on the state of Government recordkeeping which identifies trends and issues facing recordkeeping in the public sector along with recommendations for improvement where needed.
