The Scottish Council on Archives will shortly be carrying out our regular ‘housekeeping’ on the popular SCARRS Records Retention Schedules (http://www.scottisharchives.org.uk/scarrs).

 

This won't be a full review – the last one having been undertaken in summer 2014 – but rather a consolidation of comments, amendments and corrections received in recent months.

 

To keep SCARRS current and useful, the Council relies on the knowledge and contributions of record keepers and record creators. If you have any specific observations on SCARRS, please submit them to us by 9am on 2 February 2015 for inclusion in this exercise. Your comments should be emailed to [log in to unmask].
