Public Engagement Manager – Salary circa £32,000 to £34,000 per annum

Full time, fixed term appointment for two years in the first instance  

 

We have a newly created role of Public Engagement Manager at LSTM which will play a key role in the development and implementation of LSTM’s public engagement strategy. Working closely with the Director of Communications, the Public Engagement Manager will design, set up and deliver a number of high profile public engagement initiatives as well as contribute to the development of LSTM’s profile with various audiences with the aim to inspire, involve and engage.

 

To succeed within the role, we are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or equivalent, with recent experience of working in the field of public engagement.  Excellent understanding of the public engagement agenda amongst funders and within the field of scientific research is essential to drive forward LSTM’s agenda.  Strong relationship skills, excellent presentational skills and the ability to successfully organise and prioritise tasks to ensure successful delivery are pre requisites for the role.
