The next free webinar promoted by the ALT Open Education Special
Interest Group will take place on Thursday 29 January at
13.00. The subject is:
How Open is Open Education? Removing barriers for all staff,
students and other learners
The desire to develop open education frontiers has often focussed
on improving access geographically to distant students, or to
those unable to gain a place in Higher Education, through digital
provision. However, these resources often fail to understand the
accessibility challenges they raise and what needs to be done to
avoid them. A number of speakers will share their
experiences in improving access to Open Educational Resources and
there will be the opportunity for discussion.
Further details and access instructions are at https://www.alt.ac.uk/civicrm/event/info?id=142
