A new report has been released from the Work Foundation. This paper, the second from the Health at Work Policy Unit, looks at the challenges faced by employers in managing a workforce where the prevalence of chronic and fluctuating conditions is set to rise to around 40 per cent of the UK’s working age population by 2030.

The paper argues that for those living with conditions where the symptoms fluctuate, such as asthma, depression or rheumatoid arthritis, the quality of support received also fluctuates far too much.
