Making a better ask
Aims: - Provide heritage organisations with the opportunity to meet key funders and learn how to give future funding applications the best possible chance of success
An opportunity to hear from some of the trusts and foundations particularly interested in funding heritage organisations in Wales. Each of the trusts will give a brief presentation on their current grant giving programmes followed by the opportunity to ask questions and network with funders and other heritage organisations - Understand and meet the expectations of funders
- How to improve the quality of your funding bids
- Understand how forward planning can increase your chances of success
- Improve communication and relationships between funders and recipients
- Have had an opportunity to discuss key issues and share experiences with other heritage organisations
For trustees, staff and volunteers in heritage organisations - suitable for those with some experience of fundraising and making funding applications who want the opportunity to engage with funders |
