Dear Colleagues,

We kindly invite you to submit an abstract to the following session of the next AGU Spring Joint Assembly, which will be held in Montreal, from 03 to 07 May 2015 (http://ja.agu.org/2015/):

Session 6248: Earth’s Plasmasphere – Feeding, Dynamics and Coupling Processes

The goal of this session is to stimulate exchanges between the communities working on subjects involving all aspects of the Earth's plasmasphere, in order to obtain a better comprehension of the near Earth environment.
Comparisons and confrontations between different datasets and data analysis techniques are encouraged in order to improve our knowledge and modeling of the fundamental aspects of inner magnetosphere physics. Observational studies of particular events, statistical analyses and modeling efforts of the plasmasphere are also welcome. Investigations of plasmasphere coupling with the ionosphere, ring current and radiation belts are recommended. In particular, studies with long-duration missions (e.g. Cluster, IMAGE, TWINS and SAMPEX), recently launched missions (e.g. Van Allen Probes), work in preparation for future inner magnetosphere missions (e.g. ORBITALS, ERG) and multi-satellite and ground based data analyses are encouraged.

Invited speakers include Dr. Joe Borovsky and Dr. Jacob Bortnik.
