The Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) invites undergraduate students to apply for one of its MSc programmes:

Media and communication courses have been taught at the LSE since the 1990s. Established in 2003, the Department of Media and Communications at LSE has grown to become a world leader in media and communications research.  The QS World University Ranking recently rated our department as the best place in the UK to study media and communications and second worldwide. We were also ranked first in the [log in to unmask]">2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) with 91% of research outputs ranked world-leading or internationally excellent. The department’s [log in to unmask]"> 20 full-time members of staff are experts in their respective fields and specialisms.

 

To celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of the School, LSE will be offering 120 Anniversary Scholarships for taught Master's students from the UK starting their degree at different departments across the LSE in 2015. The awards will vary in value, based on financial need, and are designed to help with fees and living costs. The minimum award will be £3,000 and the maximum award will be worth £25,000.  Selection will be made based on students’ application to the Graduate Support Scheme. Please note that students must complete Section G - Personal Statement in their application form.

 

Priority will be given to students from the UK who are applying for their first Master's programme and to recent graduates who were eligible for a maintenance grant during their undergraduate studies. LSE graduates are eligible for a 10% discount on their Master's tuition fee.
