Greetings and best wishes for 2015! Maybe you heard about the great joint Medical Library Association - CHLA/ABSC meeting in Vancouver in 2000, or you marveled at what Vancouver had to offer during the 2010 Winter Olympics (well, only the ocean, no snow in June, except maybe high on the North Shore mountains). Vancouver has only grown more diverse and cosmopolitan since those events. Here is a chance to visit Vancouver and see for yourself while contributing to a full, interesting program at a national meeting. Call for Submissions The 39th Canadian Health Libraries Association / Association des bibliothèques de la santé du Canada (CHLA/ABSC) Annual Meeting will be held June 19-22, 2015 in Vancouver. We invite proposals for contributed papers, posters and lightning talks relating to the conference theme, "Riding the Wave of Change/ Surfer sur la vague du changement". They may cover a broad range of innovations or activities advancing health library research, practice or policy. Contributed papers files and posters will be published on the conference web site. DEADLINE: To be considered, submissions must be received by January 15th, 2015. There will be no extensions of this deadline. All contributors will be contacted by the Program and Posters Committee by February 15th, 2015. SUBMISSION AND FORMAT: Proposals must be submitted via the CHLA/ABSC 2015 Conference website using this Webform<http://chla-absc.ca/conference/content/abstract-submission> and should include: * Title; * Blinded, structured abstract of no more than 250 words (please do not include any author or location identification); * Name, work affiliation and address, phone number and e-mail address for each presenter; * Format of presentation preferred - contributed paper, poster or lightning strike - in rank order. The Program and Posters Subcommittee will try to give people their first choice of presentation format, but, if not possible, the Subcommittee will consider the second or third choices.
