Thanks Gordon!! Reminds me of a drop-in where a totally demoralised student turned up in despair - an angry tutor had sent her to see me because she the student obviously could not write!! I read through a wonderful piece of writing - the student understood the question - grasped the task - and wrote concisely and effectively - what on earth was wrong? Then I spotted it - she occasionally got her semi-colons wrong!
Obviously dear reader, I shot her!
