Morning All,

1)      We are looking to revise our ‘disability questionnaire’ which is sent out to students as part of the Admissions process. We want to encourage students to declare as early as possible, most notably  students with long term mental health conditions. Given the fitness to practice guidelines that some of our courses have  I think many students are reticent about declaring as they (wrongly) think this might affect their offer of a place. I would be grateful if anyone could share the documents/questionnaires they use, particularly other Vet/Medical Schools. I think  that the term ‘disability questionnaire’ could also be off-putting as some students with long term medical conditions would not put themselves in this bracket, any ideas for improved wording grateful received!

2)      Can anyone recommend a supplier for orthopaedic mattresses/mattress toppers or indeed any London based venues where students sample said equipment.

Many thanks

Kate
