European Conference on Eye Movements 2015*
*SMI Programming Competition*

*Reminder - Call for Contributions*

SensoMotoric Instruments (SMI) and the European Conference on Eye 
Movements (ECEM) are delighted to call for contributions to ECEM’s 2015 
(Vienna) eye-tracking programming competition. The call is open for 
newly developed eye-tracking software, and software covering 
eye-movement research, and/or eye tracking data analysis. The possible 
applications may cover a variety of fields, such as human computer 
interaction, event detection algorithms, visualisation and analysis of 
eye movements, or even entirely novel applications. The four finalists 
of the competition will have to attend ECEM 2015 (registration fees will 
be sponsored) and present their developed software at the conference. 
Please note, that the finalists will have to take care of (and pay for) 
their own travel arrangements and accommodations.

The prize for the winner of this competition will be a SMI RED250mobile 
remote eye tracker provided by SMI. For more than 20 years SMI is 
dedicated to academic research providing eye tracking hardware and 
software solutions to best in class scientific institutes worldwide. The 
SMI RED250mobile is a next generation eye tracker designed for 
researchers who require both mobility and high sampling rate for saccade 
based studies in and out of the lab.
