Dear UTSG Colleagues, The Centre for Urban Research <http://www.rmit.edu.au/research/urban> (CUR) at RMIT University seeks inspired and capable urban research applicants for the Vice-Chancellor’s Post-doctoral, Research and Senior Research Fellowships scheme. The fellowships are four years duration with potential to convert to an ongoing teaching position after that time. The Centre for Urban Research was established in 2012 and draws together RMIT’s key researchers in the areas of urban and regional planning, housing and homelessness, and sustainability and climate change. The Centre has established a strong reputation via publications and award of fellowships and grants and is actively involved in major theoretical and policy debates about urban questions within Australia and globally. The CUR is located at RMIT’s city campus in the core of Melbourne, which enjoys a reputation as the world’s ‘most liveable city’. RMIT VC Fellowships will be awarded to applicants in the University’s priority research areas, including ‘urban research and the built environment’ and ‘social and economic development’ which are relevant to the CUR. Applicants with urban transport expertise are welcomed.
