Apologies for cross posting and if you are not based in this region. Please see below some information about the South and East Museums Federation.

The Federation is a really friendly group of museum professionals and membership offers regular networking opportunities and behind the scenes study visits. It also offers annual study trips - in January we will be heading to Brussels. The next UK based study visits are to Reading Museum on the 25th March and Gainsborough House, Sudbury 13th May.

Membership of the SEMF is open to everyone working in museums and galleries in the region. This includes the counties of Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Oxfordshire and the unitary authority areas of Luton, Milton Keynes and Peterborough.

Our members include professionals working in large and small museums, volunteers, students and freelance consultants. All are welcome, join us.
