(Cross-postings will occur - I am sorry!)

REMINDER!! Deadline approaching!

You are reminded that the annual meeting of the Royal Society of Chemistry Special Interest, Spectroscopy and Dynamics Group (SDG) Meeting will take place at the University of Nottingham 6-8th January 2015. Please register as soon as possible to help planning.

The registration, and other, details may be found at:

http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/~pczsocar/SDG2015/SDG2015.html

Please indicate whether you plan to give a talk or a poster, and if you are a Postdoctoral Fellow, whether you are willing to chair a session.

As regulars will know, this is a very friendly meeting, with most talks given by PhD students and postdocs, but with plenary talks from well-known researchers (see below), including the "tutorial" lectures on the first evening. The conference dinner will be followed by the traditional quiz, where you can demonstrate your range of knowledge over a wide range of subjects (!!).

Confirmed speakers:

          Mark Johnson (Yale University, USA)
            Henrik Stapelfeldt (Aarhus University)
Melanie Schnell (Hamburg Centre for Ultrafast Imaging)
            John Plane (University of Leeds)
Steve Meech (University of East Anglia)
            Claire Vallance (University of Oxford)

We look forward to welcoming you to Nottingham in January.

Tim Wright
