Hi,

Just picked this up from the forum. It seems that the review process is
being redesigned. Good!! I wonder if there is anyway we could be involved
in the testing?

Hazel are you going to commend on this one? The republishing after every
note because you have to put them in the Library notes field to make them
stick is a real problem.

Subject: Using Acquisitions Reviews with Force Review
To: [log in to unmask]

This is our first year of using Talis Acquisitions Reviews, and we are
currently have ‘Force review’ switched on.

We are finding the volume of acquisitions reviews hard to keep pace with,
and are finding that many boomerang back to us, and that the notes vanish.
We are discovering little workarounds as we go, but I wondered if anyone
with a bit more time under their belt had come up with a workflow for
acquisitions reviews that fits the way the software works just now?

I am aware that the Reviews are being redesigned, so don’t want to spend
too much time re-inventing the wheel, if someone else has already developed
an elegant workflow, that uses the mimimum of staff time?

Any advice appreciated.
