Hi We are currently using iPads to support the growing demand for iPad taster sessions in our libraries, and to provide flexibility in general IT support within the library space using our corp. Wi-Fi solution. We initially looked at Airwatch, but are about to test Configurator which is used in our schools. We are interested in replacing and/or supplementing some of our PN PCs with touch screen devices, and were advised that Windows tablets could be a possible option in terms of compatibility with our PC booking software. We’re yet to progress this. This thread is therefore very useful! These are in addition to the PN PCs and staff hand held iPads already in use. Whether they will act as additional PN facilities or as self service for library / council tasks or quick reference we're in the process of deciding. We're interested in how we manage the iPads from a central location - Apple Configurator may be the way to go. We also have a Windows8 PC, embedded in a housing with a table top screen, which we've added Windows apps and links to library and council content to. This was supplied by SOLUS.
