*Call for session proposals for the **GIScRGat the RGS-IBG Annual 
International Conference 2015*

Dear all


The*Geographical Information Science Research group (GIScRG)* is pleased 
to announce its call for sessions for the 2015 RGS-IBG Annual 
International Conference.

This year’s conference has ‘Geographies of the Anthropocene’ as its 
theme, and will be chaired by Professor Sarah Whatmore (University of 
Oxford).It will be held at the University of Exeter, on 1-4 September

GIScRG encourages submissions that are innovative and exciting, and that 
connect to the conference theme and the aims of the GIScRG (see 
http://quantile.info/2014/09/30/giscrg/ ).

Proposals for GIScRG sponsored sessions should be send to Yi Gong 
([log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>) by *19 Dec 2014*. 
Please make sure to include

·The session title and abstract (max 300 words)

·The name(s) and affiliation(s) of the session convenor(s)

·The format the session (e.g. presented papers, panels, practitioner 
forums, discussions or workshops)

·The number of timeslots required - each timeslot lasts100 minutes (this 
can be divided up as the session convenor(s) choose, e.g. 5x20 minute 
presentations or 4x20 minute presentations leaving 20 minutes for 
discussion at the end)

You may also wish to consider a co-sponsored session with another 
research group - the RGS-IBG research group list is available at
