Season’s
greetings and best wishes for 2015 from CHARM (Charity Archivists and Records Manager’s Group) and all charity archives! The RNLI Archive brings us Christmas cards from the 1980s; a snowy RNLI memorial that remembers past sacrifice to inspire future generations;
a brand new Shannon Class lifeboat performing 'donuts' after its dedication service that CHARM members saw at our summer meeting at RNLI's HQ; and a statue above the entrance to the RNLI Archive building. The archive gained UNESCO
UK Memory of the World status in 2014.
